Duston Garage Premier Division Corby Locomotives found Ringstead Rangers too strong for them and lost out 2-0 leaving them in the drop zone. 14th placed Corby S&L Khalsa managed a well deserved 2-1 win over 9th placed Brixworth All Saints. Khalsa goals from: David Crawford and Richard Makra. Earls Barton United made home advantage count after beating Welford Victoria 2-1 to move one place up the league table. Gretton hosted Weldon United in a slow game which was destined for a draw but, ended with Gretton stealing a winner 1-0. Gretton goal from: substitute Richard Moore. Harpole managed to hold Corby Eagles to a 1-1 draw, leaving Corby Eagles 6 points behind league leaders James King Blisworth. Harpole goal from: substitute Gary Purton. Eagles goal from: David Sheridan. High flyers James King Blisworth keep their feet firmly on the gas beating Moulton a comfortable 5-0. Blisworth goals from: Mark Faulkner, Chris Healey and Andy Seaton x3. Milton were left travelling home from Roade empty handed after going down 2-0. Road goals from: Oliver Anderson and Andrew Watts. Duston Garage Division 1 Corby Ravens put up a good fight against local rivals Corby Grampian making for an interesting game full ofgoals but, Ravens couldn’t quite hold Grampian off losing out on the points 9-4.  Ravens goals from: Grieg Hussain x2 and Scott McKinnon x2. Grampian goals from: Dean Clark, Lee Sinclair, Shaune Mitchell x2, Jamie O’Neill x2 and Chris Chalmers x3. Promotion chasers Daventry Drayton Grange keep right on target after beating Kettering Orchard Park 3-1. Daventry now sit in 2nd place with games in hand. Daventry goals from: Leigh Roberts, Matthew Russ and Darren Taylor. Burton United slip down the league table after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Medbourne. Weedon stay true to their good form for another week after beating bottom markers Wilby 4-2. Weedon goals from: Ashley Brown x2 and Jordan Casey x2. Wootton St George had a close fought game against Heyford Athletic which saw Heyford come out on top by 3-2. Duston Garage Division 2 Finedon Volta gave 2nd placed Wellingborough Rising Sun a very good game just losing out by the odd goal with Rising Sun winning 3-2. Higham Town played host to West Haddon Albion and the visitors came away with all 3 points winning 2-0 to keep them mid table. Kettering Park Rovers hit 5 goals without reply fromStan wick Rovers who have had a slump in form in the last few weeks. Stratton kept up their push for a top two finish with another win over visitors Kislingbury by a 2-1 score line. Spratton goals from: Sam Lavelle and an own goal. Duston Garage Division 3 Irthlingborough Town made the trip over to Corby Strip Mills worthwhile securing another win to keep them out of the bottom three winning by 2-0. Goals from: Graham Holmes and Zen King. Irthlingborough Rangers made home advantage count with a win over visitors Corby United by 4-3 in a very good game between two close sides in the division. Northampton Mereway and Yardley United who both are mid table put up a good show with 8 goals between them. The hosts Mereway just coming out the winners by 5-3. Northampton Spartak had no trouble beating bottom markers Inter Corby to keep the push for top spot to the wire winning by 3-1. Wellingborough Gleneagles had a very good game at home to Corby Kingswood with just 2 points separating them in the league. The game went in favour of Wellingborough Gleneagles by 3-1 with goals from: Liam Leonard, Connor Hartwell and Michael Davis. Kingswood goal from: Jordan Ware. Duston Garage Reserve Premier Division 4th placed Corby Grampian Reserves put a dent in Roade Reserves hopes of being runners up in the Division with a 4-2 home win. Grampian goals coming from: Daniel Loughran x2, Matt Hogg and an own goal. Kettering Nomads Reserves could not make home advantage count going down 2-1 to Harpole Reserves.   Moulton Reserves played host to Wollaston Reserves with both teams separated by one point and it was the visitors that came away with the points winning 2-1. Ringstead Rangers Reserves could not make home advantage count as they went down to bottom markers Brixworth Reserves by 7-4, the win still leaves Brixworth Reserves bottom of the league. Weldon United Reserves had a good win against a very good Bugbrooke ‘A’ side winning by 3-0 to keep them on target for runners up spot in the league with 3 games in hand. Goals from: James Ferguson and Aaron McKay x2. Duston Garage Reserve Division 1  Corby Eagles Reserves did not have things go their way as Weldon United ‘A’ came to give them a game and came away with all 3 points winning by 4-3 in a very tight game. Weldon goals from: Aaron Brown x2, Ian Bell and Corey Bowden.  Corby Pegasus Reserves made home advantage count against Medbourne Reserves with a comfortable 3-1 win, leaving them in mid table with one game to play. Duston Garage Reserve Division 2 Bugbrooke ‘B’ took over as league leaders with a 3-0 win over West Haddon Albion Reserves. Bugbrooke ‘B’ have games in hand over the teams below them.  Daventry Drayton Grange Reserves who also have games in hand to make it a 3 way tie for the league championship, had a comfortable 4-0 at home to Finedon Volta Reserves. Daventry goals from: Aaron Carter, Marcin Chmielewski, Rhys Collins and Daniel Hutchinson. Heyford Athletic Reserves succumbed to AFC Corby Shamrock Reserves by 4-0. Corby Shamrock who have 7 games in hand on some of the teams above them and could also be in with a shout of winning the league.
